The June 2026 forum was held at Warwick Conference Center. The meeting was the first of a new format, taking place over two days.
Day 1: Strategic updates and community discussion
Day 1 followed the Forum’s established format and was attended by CCP and HEC Chairs, together with representatives from UKRI and the research councils. The programme included a presentation from David Lusher, the 2025 CoSeC Impact Award winner from JAXA, alongside an important update from UKRI DRI and the UKRI communities. This update introduced the background to the proposed Community Centres of Excellence (CCEs) and National Computing Resources (NCRs).
Day 2: Cross-cutting technical themes
Day 2 was open to the wider CoSeC communities and focused on four themes identified by the CoSeC External Advisory Board:
- Energy Efficient Compute
- FAIR Data
- Artificial Intelligence
- Quantum Computing
Each theme was led by a session lead and included a mixture of presentations and open discussion.

A poster session was included on the agenda for this Forum to allow our communities the opportunity to present an update on their current work, and also to provide a networking opportunity across the lunch breaks.
Here are copies of the posters that were on display:
