WINNER OF OUR 2025 IMPACT AWARD ANNOUNCED!
CoSeC have awarded the 2025 CoSeC Impact Award to Dr. David Lusher of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) for his exceptional contributions to the scientific community.
Introduced in 2019 and first awarded in 2020, the CoSeC Impact Award recognises the research of Masters, PhD students, or early career researchers with up to 5 years post-doctoral experience, who have been supported by CoSeC, while at the same time raising awareness of the CoSeC communities.

INTERESTED IN A COSEC FELLOWSHIP?
Open to all, CoSeC Fellows are each awarded funding of up to £3000 and be able to access, and learn from, interactions across a wide range of research areas. Fellows gain experience of working in a world-leading scientific environment, increasing their skills and knowledge. They have the opportunity to raise their own personal profile and have the prospect of creating future educational and employment openings as they develop their careers. The deadline for 2025 has closed but if you are interested in applying for our 2026 cohort, please get in touch.

OUR LATEST COMMUNITY FORUM REPORT
The CoSeC Community Forum is a bi-annual meeting involving the communities directly involved with the CoSeC programme and is an opportunity to come together to report on recent activities and future opportunities. The meeting provides networking possibilities and discussion activities that help to share information and best practice between the communities as well as identify potential for future cross-community projects.

- Spans thousands of researchers around research software development, training and community building
- A hub for nationally important computational research topics like AI, Quantum and Research Data Curation
