The following page outlines some important information about the CoSeC Fellowship Programme.
All questions and communication about the fellowship programme should be sent to the CoSeC Programme Office – CoSeC@stfc.ac.uk.
Each CoSeC Fellow will become an ambassador for the Centre, highlighting the benefits of CoSeC and the CCP model, and making scientists and researchers aware of the world leading activities undertaken through the Centre’s work.
Promotion of CoSeC
Fellows should promote CoSeC where appropriate. For example, we expect Fellows to discuss our work during conversations with interested delegates at conferences and events. We encourage Fellows to include a slide about CoSeC in their presentation (if we have contributed towards attendance at the event) and, where possible, to leave publicity materials (typically A5 flyers and stickers) for distribution at in-person events. These can be provided by the Programme Office on request.
We encourage Fellows to use social media in order to broadcast news about our work. Please tag CoSeC in your posts on LinkedIn which is currently our only social media outlet. You can find our account at www.linkedin.com/showcase/cosec-ukri.
Fellows should make themselves aware of the CoSeC branding guidelines and the correct wording to use in acknowledgments.

Applying for, and claiming, funding
Funding will not be awarded as a lump sum at the start of the Fellowship period.
Fellows must apply to the CoSeC Programme Office for approval before completing any expenditure. Once spend is approved Fellows can proceed to make bookings or purchases. This expenditure can then be reclaimed via an expense claims form that will be provided.
If spend relates to travel or accommodation then bookings can be made directly through the Programme Office eliminating the requirement for Fellows to make the spend themselves.
All expenditure must adhere to UKRI rules and regulations.
- Submit a request for spending to the Programme Office – CoSeC@stfc.ac.uk.
- If approved proceed to make booking or purchase.
- If the spend relates to travel and accommodation arrange bookings directly through the Programme Office – send details of what you need to CoSeC@stfc.ac.uk.
- Once your activity is complete submit an expense claim to arrange a refund.
